My life without music is somehow incomplete…

1 In Music: What is unique about you and your music?

Javier Rodriguez [JR]: Undoubtedly, the style and objective are to create immersive and emotional soundscapes. My compositions are characterized by the repetition of patterns to create a sense of calm and serenity. It’s melodic music but it also uses textures and layers of sounds to create a unique experience for each listener. I also incorporate elements of classical music, jazz, and electronic music to create a distinctive and recognizable style. Overall, my music is introspective and evocative, and is often used in film soundtracks and television commercials.

1 In Music: What or who shaped your music and who supports you?

Javier Rodriguez [JR]: My music is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and surroundings. I often draw inspiration from nature, landscapes, and the concept of time. This connection with the natural world is often reflected in my compositions, which often evoke a sense of serenity. Also my music is influenced by various genres and styles, including classical, minimalist, and film music. Composers such as Igor Stravinsky, John Cage, Arvo Pärt, and Philip Glass have played a significant role in shaping my compositional approach and the atmospheric, introspective qualities of my music.
