1inmusic: What is unique about you and your music?
Em Soto: The fact that no one can feel my story the way that I do.

1inMusic: What shaped your music and who supports you?
Em: Artists from the 90’s and some from now. My family and friends support me.

1inmusic: When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
Em: When I went to school for music production and started learning the technical side of the house.

1inmusic: What type of music do you listen to?
Em: Of course Rap, Pop EDM, R&B… a little bit of everything.

1inmusic: Who, to you, is the most undervalued music artist?
Em: Joe Budden.

1inmusic: How do you prepare for your performances?
Em: I usually do a lot of cardio weeks before and do rehearsal runs until I get it down.

1inmusic: What ignites your (song) writing flow?
Em: Listening to the right beat and situation and experiences I go through.

1inmusic: What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
Em: I usually won’t do music if I’m not feeling it because it makes it harder to get the best possible product.

1inmusic: Success to you is:
Em: Being able to accomplish the goals that you set short- and long-term.

1inmusic: What do you wish you were told when you started out and that you think would help anyone who starts out?
Em: Learn the business side of the music industry.

1inmusic: Any upcoming projects?
Em: I’m currently working on an EP.

1inmusic: Where do we find you music / music project?
Em: You can find my music on iTunes Drift & Swerve.
